Snow Map is ready...

Weather Forecast:
Part 1: Snow map
Part 2: Westport Weather...

Part 1:

I've been looking at the models carefully all afternoon and have come to a conclusion of this snow map, which i think is fairly accurate...

If you can't read the map it's no big deal since i will be explaining it all in text as well... So, the models did end up going with the storm coming further north, meaning it will drag warmer air at the beginning and pulling colder air at the end (so a lot of mixing and changing over and rain) as apposed to taking a more southern track and having warm air (not too warm) quickly changing to some cold air (not very cold) which would mean more snow for areas further south... Anyways, now to the details... I think all the Big Cities will see some kind of frozen precip out of this, whether it's a couple wet snow flakes mixing in at the last hour of the storm, or a coating of snow... Now the suburbs to the North and to the West may see up to an inch of snow, and once you get into upstate NY territory, there is a possibility for all snow and possibly 3 inches of it... So we'll see by tomorrow just how accurate this is, but i can tell you that very chilly air will immediately follow before getting back into spring...

Part 2:

Well a nice day today with temps in the upper 50's and Sunshine with a strong breeze, cool breeze... Temps tonight will dip into the low 40's which is generally warm for this time of year... Tomorrow clouds will be on the increase, and by later in the afternoon tomorrow it may start to rain or drizzle... By time the sun goes down we could have a moderate rain coming down, but no flooding expected... This rain will rapidly drag down cool air from the north and force some of this rain to possibly mix in or change over to a period of wet snow in the last hour or two of the storms precip... Looking at the forecast, the last hour or two of the storm will likely take place around 10 or 11 AM Friday where we can't rule out the possibility of wet snow... Even though no accumulation is expected, a light coating can't be ruled out either... There still is a chance the cold air doesn't rush in fast enough and we get all rain, so keep that in mind as well... That's it for now... Get ready with your umbrellas, and keep your winter coats nearby...
