models go back to no snow?... 17th storm shows up?... And SPRING...

Weather Forecast:
Part 1: Snowstorm for next weekend goes away?
Part 2: 17th storm finally shows up?!?!?
Part 3: Winter does not want to ever go away
Part 4: Spring update...
Part 5: Westport Weather...

Part 1:

Shows up on European...

But...

Disappears on the on the GFS... This shows a rainstorm...

So no the storm did not "disappear" on the models, but whats happened is the GFS is now showing a very strong storm... But rain... And now the European shows a big snowstorm but it seems the targeted area is now the Mid Atlantic area... So there still is consistency because all models are showing this storm from Thursday to Sunday... But they're changing it up... Now the models could just as easily switch back to a monster snowstorm for New England as fast as they took it away so we shall see... Also note that If a rainstorm does happen... We will have to worry about a lot of flooding, especially for the areas who still have snow cover... We will have to keep an eye on this storm, and as always, i will make sure to keep you updated on the latest...

Part 2:

IS THE 17th STORM THAT HAS BEEN RUMORED FOR WEEKS FINALLY SHOWING UP?!?!?!? Well the models are detecting something around the 17th but it does not look like a monster snowstorm... Never the less, it's something... The models are certainly showing something, but they are not showing it well... This is definitely something we will have to watch for the upcoming weeks... Looking at the 372 hr. GFS run, there was some very cold air in place with some kind of system the the GFS was having trouble printing... Here is what is going on around the 17th...

Off the Accuweather pro site...

You can see it shows a storm cutting across the great lakes with the low centered around Toronto... The odd thing is with this set up its usually a lot of rain and warmth across the Northeast but it shows enough cold air in place for snow... You can see the freezing line goes all the way down to NC and just to the north of the Florida Border line... Now depending on how much strength this has will determine whether or not a second low forms just off the coast and brings a monster snowstorm to the Mid-Atlantic and New England so we shall SEE!!!....

Part 3:

This is just absolutely crazy because going out to 372 hours on March 23rd... The GFS run still shows cold air in the northeast!!!! It even has a storm system cutting across the country which would eventually bring some more snow to the north east around 400 hours out!!!! So winter does not want to give up!!!! This is really just insane because we keep think oh this storm is going to be it, but NO, it seems there is still more cold and winter weather to come so we will have to watch out for this cold in the weeks to come!!!...

Part 4:

Yes, it is time for the spring update!!!! Well waking up this morning will probably feel pretty nice because most are wake up to 40's!!!! By this afternoon most places south of I-80 will likely reach 55 degrees or higher and north of I-80 will probably see upper 40's and lower 50's!!!! No wind, nothing but sunshine, so get out there and enjoy it because i know i will... Tomorrow seems to be the nicest of this short spring trick and by Tuesday it'll slowly be dropping down but still nice... Then Wednesday it seems it will rapidly drop and North of I-80 will see mid and lower 40's for highs and south of I-80 will have upper 40's and lower 50's... Well that's it for your spring update! Enjoy it while you can!

Part 5:

An overview of Westport...

Good Afternoon to Westport, it is currently 51 degrees!!!!!! The last time we saw that was probably way back in early and mid October!!!! We could be talking about temperatures close to 55 today and by tomorrow temperatures will be close to or above 55 degrees!!!! ALL SUN, NO WIND!!!!! It will feel probably like 60!!! Lows throughout the next 2 or 3 days will be in the 40's!!!! By Tuesday it will begin to slowly cool down with temperatures still in the 50's, and by Wednesday it seems we will have a rapid drop... We could be talking about back to mid 40's by Wednesday and then it seems cold and rainy for Thursday... I can not show the forecast past that because it seems it may be unpredictable whether we see snow or rain!!!! Yes, i did say SNOW!!!! It may once again be in our forecast along with cold conditions starting late next week... So enjoy this heat while you can!!!! That's it for now!!! As always i will keep you updated on the latest!!!...
