Part 3: Warmth Continues...

Part 5: Westport Weather...

Part 1:

It has been getting extremely frustrating!!!! Before i go any further i just want to say that i respect and enjoy Accuweather.com, and I'm a major fan... But... They really need to get there act together to end the winter year... What i mean by that is, One day they're talking about snowstorms and then all of a sudden they go right to spring... No transition!!!! In the last week the word winter or snow has not appeared once on Accuweather.com, Meanwhile i keep seeing cold and snow on the models!!!! Again and Again the models continue to print out snow in the forecast or at least cold weather from the 17th and after... Now if you go on weather.com for your local town, and you live in the northeast, you will probably see the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th showing nice warm and sunny weather... Meanwhile the models are showing nasty cold and even some snowy weather for the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and even past that! So now i'm going to do the only thing there is left to do... And that is to give my prediction... My prediction consists of a couple things... The models, Accuweather.com, Weather.com, My knowledge, and finally my gut feeling... So here it is... I am going to list 1 city and do a the long range forecast for the city... This will be the first time i do anything like this, and if it works out, i may continue to do so!!!!....

Part 2:

Yes the flooding rain is getting closer and closer... I think that Saturday will be the worst of this whole storm with strong gusty winds, heavy rains, and lots of coastal and even inland flooding... Any snowfall still on the ground will likely disappear completely with this rain and will also likely contribute to the flooding... We actually have already had some rain today across the area and it is currently raining in places Boston where right now we actually have some heavier rain especially to the north and west of town... Its raining across mid and southern sections of VT and NH as well... Now with the flooding rains expect anywhere from 3-5 inches of rain possible with localized 6 inches the further south you go!!!! That's your flood update... Again, the rain will be starting later tomorrow for most and continue into most of Monday with the worst being Saturday and even early Sunday doesn't look great, but the winds will calm down...

Part 3:

Yes, the warmth continues across the area today with a lot of mid 50's showing up on the map... You probably noticed though that it felt much colder and that was due to the cloud cover... The temperatures will actually cool down a bit as we get into tomorrow and Saturday where temps will be in the upper and mid 40's for a lot of people... Then the temperatures will gradually rise again until around the 17th where there maybe a dramatic drop in the temps with some snow possibly... Something we will have to keep our eye on over the next few days... That's it from here... Enjoy the weather!

Part 4:

YES!!! It is time for my second favorite thing in weather... Hurricane Season 2010!!!! You have probably heard it will be a much more active season this year, but you have not heard my forecast...

Total Storms : 14
Hurricanes : 6
Tropical Storms : 8
Total Landfalls : 8
Hurricane Landfalls : 4
Tropical Storm Landfalls : 5
Major Hurricanes : 4
Major Hurricane Landfalls: 2

Part 5:

A good afternoon to everyone in Westport! It going to be a quick Update! OK, so today we hit about 52 degrees but it was very cloudy so it felt more like the mid and upper 40's... Tomorrow will be more of the same with some rain showers starting around 4 or 5 PM... Saturday will be horrible! Expect Colder Conditions with temps back into the upper 40's and lots of strong wind... It probably going feel like the upper 30's... This will be probably the worst day out of the next couple of weeks depending on how things go... The rain will lighten up for Sunday and Monday... By Later Next week i still expect a cool down and the possibility for snow is not gone...
