The Weather Channel catches on... But what about Accuweather?...

Yes finally The Weather channel, who was very close to my forecast yesterday, has changed their forecast so it matches mine almost exact... I'm going to show you there map from yesterday and there map for today and then i'm going to show you my map, and you will be able to see just how close they are...

Weather Channels map from yesterday...

Weather Channels map for today...

My Snow map from yesterday...

Now keep in mind these are ADDITIONAL accumulations, meaning that areas like NYC that show 1-3 inches of snow have already picked up 1-3 inches of snow, so their totals will be in the 2-6 inche range so thats why on my map they are in the 4-8 inch range... As you can see my map and todays weather channel snow map, are very similiar... Now if only Accuweather could change... Im not going to show you Accuweathers map, but you are welcome to go on their site... Trust me, i love accuweather, but this storm just isn't theirs... Now onto the NEXT STORM!!!!

It seems we have yet another clipper system which seems like it is going to give most of its snow to the virginia area... so nothing too exciting there because it seems to be moving fairly quick and does not have much strength, so there will be very light accumulations with this storm...

Now i would like to talk about Henry Margusity's blog from Accuweather... I believe he is on to something here... He is predicting an end of the month snowstorm or more like a big daddy... He says this storm will be so big and powerful it may change this cold and snowy pattern!!!! This may be one of those 2-3 foot snowstorms with winds up to 70 mph!!!! Now i see nothing on the GFS, but like Henry says, I think the GFS just doesn't know exactly how to handle this storm... As for the Euopian model, its a whole different story... This shows a very good storm right off the coast of NJ bringing heavy snow and winds to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast... so this is obviously something to watch...

That is it for now... Another update coming this afternoon and evening...
