More Mistakes...

I disagree almost completely with Accuweather which rarely happens... In fact i think The Weather Channel may be much closer with this storm... let me show you both snow maps...

I wish i could put the GFS model on here as well but it doesn't seem like i can so I'll just try to explain what is happening... As you can see the Accuweather snow map shows a strip of around 10 inches of snow stretching from extreme western MA, through the extreme south eastern section of VT, right across Central and Northern NH, and right through the central part of ME... I have almost no idea how Accuweather came up with this map... i see no models following or supporting there idea. Everything that it shows west of Central PA looks to have had around 75% already fallen... a lot of lake effect snow is now coming on the back side of this storm... This is some really intense lake effect snow and it is extending all the way into areas as far south as southern Alabama, Mississippi, and now even into Georgia... This is such a lake effect snow event that i think it won't have too much trouble getting past the Appalachian mountains... In fact it will likely make it all the way to the coast for several days after the clipper system moves by, so that is something we should watch over the next couple of days... Now something very interesting which both of the snow maps have is this lull of dry air in the middle of this storm which will really lower accumulations across Central, and southwestern PA, so it seems that is out rip off zone with this storm... in those areas we still may see 1-3 inches of snow... Now where it gets tricky is across New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, MA, VT, NH, and ME... so pretty much the New England area... It seems the GFS, Weather Channel, and Accuweather, are all in a bit of a fight. As a explain before Accuweather is more for a Northern New England Snowstorm while The Weather Channel is more for an East Coast of New England kind of snowstorm... The third party decider would be the GFS which is much closer to The Weather Channel, except for one thing... It shows Central NJ, Long island, CT, Rhode Island, southern VT, and southern NH get the bulk of this storm... This is pretty close to The Weather Channel... It seems though, even though I love this site, that Accuweather is in La La Land with this one... So to put all of these together i decided to make my own snow map...

That's it for now... we will see what happens with this storm tomorrow!!!!... if you are expected to get snow, ENJOY IT!!!!
