Starting a new blog section!!!!!!

hey everyone, im starting a new blog section thats going to be all about possibilities of the next storms and as much details as possible. I'll even try to put out a range that goes as far as about a month ahead of time. so i figured i'd start it today!!!!

Jan. 23, Affecting: Midwest, Precip: looks like it should be snow in areas North and west of minneapolis and all the way to the Northeast of minneapolis. South of there it looks like Some ice or mix to start and then changing to a little bit of rain and ending as snow. I think minneapolis is not going to get much in the way of snow, but could see 1-3 inches... maybe 2-4... windy too. Chicago, looks like heavy rain to some ice and ending as a little snow. maybe an inch or two. looks like even detriot may see some snow or flurries at the end of the storm... partially lake enhanced. this storm will bring winter back!!! This storm will exit the Midwest by the 26th at the latest.

Jan. 24, Affecting: Northeast, Precip: looks like it should be all rain for most areas and then by the end of storm we will have some sort of snow... partially from the storm and partially from the lakes. anyway it won't be a lot... and it will have trouble getting past the appalacian mountains, so i don't think the major cities should be affected. Anyway heavy rain will slam the area someone along the coast between the mid-Atlantic and Northeast will get around 3 or 4 inches of rain... maybe 5. There will be wind with this storm. behind it there will be muchhhh colder weather. This is the same storm that hit the Midwest. It will exit by the 26th.

Jan. 24, affecting: South, Precip: Rain... should be heavy...i could see a severe outbreak across the south into the FL area with wind, heavy rain, and hail... i can't tell if we will see tornadoes but it is a possibility. For the florida area sunday monday and tuesday will be harsh. This is where some of the worst severe weather may take place. The will be flooding along with this. So in orlando, tampa, WEST PALM BEACH, and Miami, we could see the worst. rain could reach 3 inches or more. and the bands of rain should become worse as the storm exits off the florida east coast.

Now for the long range stuff::::

29th - 31st there will be a southern storm with rain around the coastal region, Dallas, Baton rouge, New orleans, pensicola and most of Florida will see another rain event. Now where it gets interesting is TN, NC even northwestern SC and extreme northern sections of MI, AL, and GE, because it looks like some heavy ice and YES heavy wet snow is possible. don't get too excited because this could change.

1st - 4th there will be a similiar storm except more moisture and the rain snow line will be further to the north. The only place to the south that may get snow is TN and it will change over to rain eventually. Now, this may be a different story for the Northeast. looks like a mix bag for the big cities, but mostly rain for DC, and Baltimore, but for Philly NYC and Boston it will be some light snow to a mix. so something to watch.

4th - 6th shows a MONSTER STORM... only one model is on this right now but i would like to talk about anyway even though the chance of it happening is very slim. A monster rainstorm will slame the south with some wind and flooding. The storm will then begin to come up the east coast and looks like a dream. It shows PA: 2 1/2 FT. of snow! and WV: some spots up to 3 feet of snow and in both place winds gusting to 55 mph!!!! The low will be center dead on Virginia and winds will be gusting at times to 70 or more with 5+ inches of rain and major flooding and beach issues all along the east coast. with the exception of NYC and north which shows 4 FT. of snow and 60 mph winds!!!!!! Now this is the one city that gets barried under the snow... where u can't see roof tops!!!!!..... yes i'm talking about BOSTON. it show at least 5 FT. of snow Looks like more though.

That's all i have for now more updates later!
