Part 1:
Yes the rain is on the way and it will be heavy with winds... Flooding is likely with this as well as gusty winds and a lot of snow melt... This will be a big part of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday... Sorry for such a short Update!!!!
Part 2:
Well the models i have to say are slightly backing off with the idea of winter really coming back... After all there are only 10 days left of Winter... We still might find this rainstorm end as a period of wet snow in some places... Actually the models are suggesting that there is going to be a pocket of cold air forming that is going to be about one hundred or so miles away from the actual main cold air area... In this pocket there is likely to be some left over moisture from the storm that gave us so much rain, so that pocket may have a left over period of very wet snow... At this point i cannot say who or how much or even if it's definitely going to snow... For now all i can say is this is something we will have to watch for over the next couple of days... Again, sorry for such a quick update...
